This year, Mamaka by Ovolo organises a fun-filled 5K charity event to support children in need.
Get ready to lace up your running shoes for a cause that truly matters! Mamaka by Ovolo presents the Miles for Smiles Mamaka Fun Run 2024, a 5K charity event taking place on Saturday, 26 October 2024 along the lively and vibrant streets of Kuta and Legian. Designed to unite locals, visitors and communities, this fun run aims to raise funds for the Bali Children Foundation, supporting underprivileged children.
The event is a part of Ovolo Hotel’s wider Ovo-Walk initiative, now in its fourth year, that takes place across Ovolo properties in Southeast Asia and Australia. Previously, this effort transformed students’ lives at SDN 3 Sidetapa in North Bali by providing classroom upgrades, learning materials and stationery kits for each student. This year, the goal of the event is to raise AUD35,000 to further support educational programs and scholarships.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual jogger, this event is open for everyone. With an expected 250 participants, the race will start and finish at the iconic Kuta Beach, guiding runners through some of Bali’s most picturesque streets.
Every participant will receive a stylish race pack that includes a t-shirt, drawstring bag, socks, BIB and a one-of-a-kind medal, while top finishers will enjoy exclusive prizes, including a 2-day 1-night stay at Mamaka by Ovolo, restaurant vouchers and exclusive membership rewards.
