- Bali Safari and Marine Park
The park is always a huge hit with adults and kids who can interact with a wide variety of animals, many of which, such as the Sumatran tiger and the orangutan, are on the endangered species list.
A top family day out, the Bali Safari and Marine Park concept fuses a Balinese cultural experience with education, conservation and animal welfare, plus, of course, a chance to see some awesome wild and domestic animals in a natural environment. The park is located near Gianyar and is easily accessible by tour or private car as well as via the park’s own shuttle bus service. The basic package, the Jungle Hopper, includes a return shuttle bus from Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Sanur, Ubud, or Nusa Dua, departing at 9.15AM and 9.30AM and returning at 3PM or 5.30PM.
After arrival, the Jungle Hoppers take the bus safari, a guided trip through the park to see the animals at home, and then have access to the fabulous Fresh Water Aquarium area, Funzone, Waterpark and animal shows, plus entrance into the mid-afternoon’s cultural extravaganza, the Bali Agung Show.
A major draw is the Night Safari, when guests can take a trip into darkest Africa and join the park’s nocturnal feeders on a thrilling African adventure. The tour operates from 6PM and includes time to feed the elephants, the Chapman zebra and, of course, the tigers and the park’s famous Tsavo lions from your specially designed caged vehicle – a truly memorable experience!

- Canggu Club
Splash, strike and bounce at Bali’s premier entertainment and sporting venue.
As the only multi-venue entertainment and sporting destination on the island, Canggu Club has long been renowned as the epicentre for family fun in Bali, with not one, not two, but three huge family-focussed venues within its palatial grounds – and that’s not including the award-winning Cubby House Kids Club, the sports field and the scrumptious dining destinations, too.
Make the unmistakeable Splash Waterpark, with its technicolour waterslides towering above the club, the first stop to get the kids’ adrenaline pumping. With six huge slides, from the five-storey high, 90-metre long Giant Racer for bigger children, to the Speed Racer for the littler ones in the fully appointed Splash Playground, there are slides for everyone, from toddlers to teens and for mums and dads, too.
For fun away from the sun, Canggu Club also hosts the Bounce Trampoline Centre and Strike Bowling. Located across the street from Splash next to the club’s tennis courts, the trampolines – which are specially designed with a spring-loaded frame to ensure maximum bounce – can be paired with several other activities, such as basketball, gymnastics and soft foam blocks to flip over and fly through.
You can then finish the action-packed day with good old-fashioned family entertainment at Strike Bowling, which has six top-of-the-line bowling lanes and a rainbow of delicious candy-coloured bowling balls to choose from. For the kids, the staff can engage rails on each side of the lanes, helping to keep the ball on track, and in between swings, humongous family-sized cheese pizzas can be delivered fresh from the oven.

- Bali Zoo
Bring the whole family and discover diverse wildlife up close.
Before the zoo opens in the cool morning, prepare for a day of exploring with a banquet for the whole family at the Orangutan Breakfast. Before eating, take some pictures of your children with an outgoing gibbon on their backs, some friendly cockatoos on their shoulders, or with one of the Asian elephants all within sight of your table. After the meal, the zookeepers arrive leading in the stars of the show: four young, playful orangutans. A great way to introduce young ones to nature, this special breakfast is just one way that Bali Zoo allows guests an up-close encounter with wildlife.
Thrill your children with an unforgettable ride atop one of Asia’s most colossal creatures. The zoo’s friendly and intelligent elephants will happily offer them the ride of their lives and afterwards would appreciate being hand-fed a basket of fruits and vegetables in return. Children will gleefully roam the Bali zoo meeting each animal around the way.
They will love to pet sociable deer while offering them leafy greens, or seeing Jacky, the Bali Zoo’s famous adult orangutan with an equally famous personality. Many tiny infant animals and critically endangered species can be found throughout the zoo and their stories will touch your family’s hearts. For more excitement, join in an interactive animal show and watch soaring eagles, ambling porcupines and amiable otters perform for a live audience, with plenty of opportunities for audience participation.
Captivate your family with the sight of majestic elephants and a deliciously prepared meal. Enjoy an open-air view of the elephant trail and a lush garden full of dazzling tropical birds. It is the perfect place to take a rest and get ready for an afternoon of exploration and excitement.
