A past master at articulating the human condition, exploitation and suffering, Pink Floyd bassist and renowned lyricist and composer Roger Waters is set to release his first solo album in 25 years. Waters describes the album as “part magic carpet ride, part political rant and part anguish”. The release coincides with a major tour kicking off in Kansas City at the end of May. Famed for his thought-provoking audio-visual stage shows, Waters is a regular in the region, so be sure to look out for upcoming dates in the region.

The Post-grunge favourites Nickelback have not only been back in the studio following lead singer Chad Kroeger’s throat surgery but are about to embark on a seriously long tour. The new album, Feed the Machine will be released on 9th June and is the bands’ seventh album and the first since 2014. The title track was released as a teaser in February and long-terms fans confirm the band are well and truly back on track with their blend of riff-driven rock and feisty lyrics.
