McGettigan’s announced its arrival in Jakarta with a dazzling launch party on 16th May. VIP guests and influencers were invited to the private party, with guests including Kyle O’Sullivan, Ambassador of Ireland in Indonesia. The evening’s entertainment was provided by four-piece band Mike’s Apartment as well as Jakarta’s top female DJs Tiara Eve and Patricia Schuldtz. Guests enjoyed the groovy beats featuring rock remixes from the 90s and funky R&B beats. Delectable canapés such as mini fish and chips and mini burgers were served while guests enjoyed the free-flow drinks.
McGettigan’s Jakarta boasts an uber cool vibe with contemporary interiors and an expansive outdoor terrace. Open from breakfast till dinner, the bar caters to a large clientele with daily specials and sharing platters. The impressive food program is masterminded by wunderkind Head Chef Shywl, a veteran of various five-star restaurants and International Executive Chef Paddy Harrison. Reflecting its Irish heritage, McGettigan’s is the only bar in Jakarta that offers seven draft beers on tap.
