Since its inception in 2011, Hong Kong’s International Arts Carnival has drawn large crowds from Asia and all over the world. Every summer, the family arts carnival is highly anticipated by children, teenagers and families alike. The carnival features exciting line-ups of delightful art programmes including acrobatics, theatre, bubble shows, dances, clown theatre, magic shows and various fun workshops by artists from around the globe.
This year, the carnival will be opened by the acclaimed China National Acrobatic Troupe. World-renowned for their artful blend of traditional performances with contemporary influences, the troupe will dazzle families with dynamic diabolo routines, dazzling balancing acts and elegant umbrella-juggling routines. Another highly anticipated show is the Off-Broadway smash hit, The Gazillion Bubble Show by Fan Yang Productions International. The stunning performance has garnered 18 Guinness World records in its record-breaking 10-year-run. To partake in the full range of festivities, parents are advised to mark their calendar from 6th July to 13th August.
