As part of Marriott International’s celebration of Indonesia’s national day, seven of Marriott International’s hotels took part in the second edition of the highly anticipated Indonesia Culinary Journey 2017. While the promotion period varied at the participating Marriott International’s hotels, guests of JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta’s Sailendra Restaurant enjoyed the culinary festival from 10th to 20th August.
Guests discovered a wide range of authentic regional cuisines celebrating the diversity of tastes across the archipelago. Each of the seven hotels presented signature Indonesian dishes crafted by their culinary teams. The luscious culinary masterpieces included authentic nasi tutug oncom by JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta, tantalising nasi goreng kambing by The Mayflower Executive Apartments, Jakarta, classic nasi ulam komplit by The Westin Jakarta, smoky tuna asap saus mangut by Keraton at the Plaza, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Jakarta, tender kluwek semur daging sapi by Le Meridien Jakarta, delectable taste of Indonesia by The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta and the heavenly ikan pecak betawi by Sheraton Grand Jakarta, Gandaria City Hotel.
