Formed in 1978 and one of Liverpool’s most influential post-Beatle bands, Echo and the Bunnymen will release their 13th studio album in May; their first recording since 2014’s successful recording Meteorites. The new album, The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon will feature Bunnymen classics transformed and reinterpreted with heavy orchestral undertones by co-producer Andy Wright. The band have explored the liberal use of strings before and have regularly used a live string section during recent concerts. The album is sure to appeal to Bunnymen puritans and those who appreciate musical nostalgia.
