Originally built in 1923, The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta, in the heart of Menteng has served as a Dutch telecommunications office, home to the Indonesian Culture Ministry, and the site of Bung Karno University. After being transformed into a luxury hotel, with the addition of a nine-storey extension, The Hermitage officially opened in 2014 and became Southeast Asia’s first Tribute Portfolio property.
Featuring a combination of antique and modern vibes, The Hermitage oozes history and elegance. Upon the entering through the gate, guests might be able to see one of the hotel’s classic Bentleys or Rolls-Royces parked just in front of the main entrance.
