World-famous cruise line brand Royal Caribbean International launched its newest and largest cruise ship in Asia, Spectrum of the Seas. Kicking off her inaugural Singapore season in May, the Spectrum of the Seas offers three sailings of three to nine nights to exciting destinations like Penang, Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My) and Hong Kong.
What’s so cool about Spectrum of the Seas is its many first-at-sea features, from Sky Pad, a virtual reality and bungee trampoline experience, to the staggering two-level Ultimate Family Suite with an in-room slide. Furthermore, the beauty also boasts new innovative dining and entertainment concepts – like a skydiving simulator and bumper cars.
During the maiden call of Spectrum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International also announced that its revolutionary ship Quantum of the Seas will add a new homeporting season in Singapore, sailing in the region until April 2021.
“Royal Caribbean has big ambitions for Asia – and Singapore sits at the heart of our growth in this region,” said Royal Caribbean’s senior vice president international Gavin Smith. “The additional homeporting of Quantum of the Seas in the 2020/21 season announced today will add some 180,000 guests to the Singapore cruising scene, and we are excited for them to experience our world-class, innovative ships.”
