Celebrating 96th anniversary of the Turkish Day.
This year, the Republic of Turkey is celebrating its 96th anniversary. Turkish Day, 29 October, is the day the nation was declared a republic by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and Turks around the world celebrate this special holiday, including in Indonesia.
On 29 October 2019, the Embassy of Turkey in Indonesia held a special celebratory dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. Hosted by the Turkish ambassador for Indonesia, Mahmut Erol Kılıç, the event was attended by the Turkish community living in the capital city and around Indonesia, the night was filled with laughter and conversations between friends.
Organised by Exquisite Event Organiser, the celebration also welcomed ambassadors from other countries, as well as dignitaries such as Mr Rachmat Gobel, Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, who spoke on the strength of the bond between Turkey and Indonesia for almost seventy years. Guests were treated to a live music performance, traditional Turkish delicacies and more.
