The Vietage brings lavish railway travel back in style in exquisitely charming Vietnam.
World-renowned hospitality group Anantara recently announced the launch of The Vietage, an unrivalled experience of opulent railway voyages across a scenic countryside in Vietnam. Developed by Anantara, The Vietage took its inaugural journey on 1 July and travels between Vietnam’s Da Nang and Quy Nhon cities, with the aim of showcasing an unforgettable ride between Anantara Hoi An and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas.
The luxurious train carriage is custom-designed with just 12 reservation-only seats, sleek modern interiors, big picture windows and large plush seats, as well as a sit-up bar and more. The Vietage takes guests on a daily return excursion, in which they can delve into the cultural, natural and historical gems of the country.
The bar provides a change of scenery, where you can enjoy a taste of local craft beers, wines and light bites, before continuing to the gastronomic main show. Guests will be treated to an array of culinary delights during the six-hour journey, comprising authentic Vietnamese flavours complemented with a French twist.
The carriage also hosts a dedicated area with spa treatment chairs where you can relieve your stress and enjoy head and shoulder treatments. A massage with a dynamic view? You won’t want to miss that. A one-way ticket aboard The Vietage is inclusive of a three-course, pre-ordered meal, free-flow wines, beers and soft drinks, bar snacks and a 30-minute head and shoulder treatment. Guests can also order from the à la carte menu, showcasing fine wines, premium champagnes, and haute treats, like local caviar and selection of local and international cheeses.
If you want to go all the way, check out Anantara’s website to opt for one of the combination accommodation packages with stays at Anantara Hoi An Resort and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas.
