The first Park Hyatt property in New Zealand, the hotel collaborated with Ali Reda from Singapore-based design firm ar+d and Bossley Architects to pay homage to Maori culture. From the ground up, the hotel is based on Maori housing to symbolise a place of gathering that brings families and communities together. On the inside, interior designers Conran and Partners gave tribute to the indigenous culture with Maori artworks specially created by local Kiwi artisans for Park Hyatt Auckland.
Meanwhile for dining and drinking, Park Hyatt Auckland’s collection of bars and restaurants offer unparalleled indulgence for every occasion. Led by Executive Chef Brent Martin, the hotel’s Onemata showcases a commitment to thoughtfully sourced local ingredients and culinary artisans, whilst at The Living Room, guests are able to dine anytime alongside picturesque views of the river.
