A: Communicating Four Seasons Resorts Bali’s extraordinary experiences to everyone.
Q: What makes a typical day in your line of work?
A: Working alongside my incredible team and our resorts’ departments to activate and implement communications, social media and marketing initiatives for Four Seasons Bali Resorts at Jimbaran Bay and Sayan, as well as hosting media and influencers from around the world, learning their world views, perspectives and sharing a passion for story angles and content creation.
Q: What does your day off look like?
A: Rest, relaxation and introspection. Discovering the beauty, culture and warmth of Bali, my new home.
Q: What’s the toughest part of your job?
A: Turning down media and influencers’ requests for discovery stays due to peak occupancy at our resorts.
Q: What do you find most satisfying in your job?
A: Being part of an ecosystem where we constantly help one another achieve success in elevating Four Seasons’ share of voice and brand value while delivering excellent guest experiences. Having collective smiles and a sense of achievement with my team when we’ve hit or exceeded our goals!
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career?
A: My son. He’s my North Star, guiding me since day one of my career. I’m inspired to challenge myself and become a better leader through him as he holds many values that I respect – honesty, integrity, hard work and empathy for fellow man.
Q: Name one really special thing about your hotels?
A: The staff at Four Seasons Resorts Bali in Jimbaran Bay and Sayan who embody our company’s golden rule and guiding principle, that is, to always treat others the way they wish to
be treated.
Q: Tell us something about you that most people don’t know.
A: I completed a 10km open-water swim in four hours in Singapore.
Q: If you had not taken this career path, what would you have chosen?
A: Probably a movie producer. I was once a script reader for a well-known Hollywood director’s production company; I enjoy movies and the creative aspect of planning and managing a project.
