Marriott Bonvoy launches a programme that offers curated experience focusing on three pillars.
Marriott Bonvoy aims to give globe-trotters elevated experiences through its Good Travel programme. Available across more than 50 destinations in Asia and Pacific, the Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy programme comprises curated journeys focusing on three key pillars: environmental protection, community engagement and marine conservation.
Guided by Marriott’s sustainability and social impact platform, Serve 360: Doing Good in Every Direction, Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy reaffirms Marriott International’s commitment to doing good in its communities.
Recently, Marriott’s Serve 360 initiatives saw various activities that aimed to give back to the community. For a start, the effort collaborated with Sungai Watch, an environmental organisation that aims to protect and restore Indonesia’s rivers to prevent plastic pollution from entering the ocean. Marriott International and Sungai Watch have successfully installed 15 barriers in the rivers in Singaraja to remove approximately 100,000kg of plastic waste.
In addition, Marriott International Indonesia also signed an MoU with Pertagas Niaga, allowing 26 Marriott International hotels in Bali to use a cleaner energy source; partnered with EVCuzz Charging Network to expand the country’s electric vehicle charging network; worked together with Scholars of Sustenance to restore food security across local communities and redistribute surplus food to the needing areas; and many more.
