Hector’s illustrious career is marked by a series of notable accomplishments, demonstrating his exceptional leadership skills and strategic vision. Prior to joining The St. Regis Bali Resort, Hector served as the general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin and The Ritz-Carlton Executive Residences, Tianjin. Under his guidance, these properties received prestigious accolades.
Hector’s journey with Marriott International began at the esteemed Hotel Arts Barcelona, a Ritz-Carlton hotel, before he embarked on a transformative chapter in Asia. During his tenure as the executive assistant manager of rooms, at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, Hector was celebrated as Rooms Best Leader in Asia Pacific in 2016. His exceptional management prowess was evident as he led a comprehensive renovation of the property, showcasing his unwavering dedication to excellence.
Continuing to make significant contributions to Marriott International, Hector assumed the role of continent office asia pacific director of luxury openings operations from 2019 to 2021. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in the successful positioning, pre-opening operations, and opening of over 20 luxury properties across the region, including notable destinations such as The St. Regis Hong Kong and The Ritz-Carlton Perth.
Beyond his professional achievements, Hector’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his academic pursuits. As a proud alumnus of EHL/Hospitality Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, he is currently pursuing an MBA, further enhancing his foundation in hospitality leadership.
A native of Argentina, Hector’s passion for embracing diverse cultures is evident in his travels, where he actively seeks out new experiences and languages. Outside of work, he leads an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities with his family and engaging in competitive sports such as tennis and swimming.
