The five-star resort is excited to unveil its latest initiative, a comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme designed to champion the wellbeing of animals in Bali.
In collaboration with the Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA), the Paws for Purpose programme aims to introduce various initiatives to improve the lives of animals across the island. Paws for Purpose signifies Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach’s commitment to giving back to the local community and making a positive impact on Bali’s animal population. The programme encompasses a range of activities scheduled to take place throughout the month of April in the hotel’s Neighborhood.
The programme kicks off with a series of Paw Yoga sessions every Friday in April 2024 from 5pm to 6pm. Participants can enjoy a relaxing yoga experience while interacting with adorable, adoptable puppies from BAWA. This unique blend of wellness and animal interaction promises to be both rejuvenating and heartwarming.
On Friday, 19 April 2024, Paws for Purpose will feature a spay and neuter clinic from 12pm to 3pm. This pop-up clinic, staffed by licensed professionals from BAWA, aims to address the issue of stray animal overpopulation while promoting responsible pet ownership within the Seminyak neighbourhood. The clinic is free of charge and generously sponsored by Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach.
The programme will continue with People for Paws, an engaging and informative sharing session from 4pm to 4.45pm on the same day. Led by BAWA practitioners and volunteers, this session will delve into various topics related to animal welfare, raising awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of caring for Bali’s animal residents.
