Discover an exceptional dining experience where Japanese cuisine meets Peruvian cuisine’s vibrant, sour and spicy flavours. This unique blend offers an adventurous twist that will delight the palate.
Located within the sprawling 6.8-hectare grounds of Padma Resort Legian, Tenkai Japanese Nikkei Restaurant is celebrated for its outstanding traditional Japanese dishes and Teppanyaki.
Nikkei cuisine originated from Japanese immigrants in Peru, who adapted their culinary skills to local ingredients. This fusion results in dishes that combine Japanese cuisine’s meticulous preparation and presentation with the bold, rich flavours of Peruvian ingredients like seafood, corn, cassava and quinoa. The outcome is a delightful array of innovative yet familiar dishes. The menu at Tenkai features Nikkei specialities such as ceviches, nigiris Nikkei, robata Anticuchos and Tiraditos, along with signature dishes like Sake Misoyu and Nikuseco. Each dish is crafted using locally sourced ingredients from Bali, ensuring freshness and authenticity. Complementing the food is a selection of beverages, including sake, shochu, signature cocktails and premium wines.
