In a captivating new chapter for its iconic Freak collection, the brand has unveiled the Freak X Enamel Seddiqi, a bespoke timepiece created in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the leading luxury watch retailer in the Middle East.
Building on the Freak’s signature “no hands, no dial” architecture, the Freak X Enamel Seddiqi offers a fresh interpretation of the original concept while showcasing Ulysse Nardin’s artistry and technical ingenuity. The watch is driven by a self-winding movement with a carousel mechanism that rotates the entire dial. This unique design eliminates the need for traditional hands, creating a mesmerising display of time.
At the heart of this new model lies an intricately guilloché and enamelled hour disc, which highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of Ulysse Nardin’s artisans. The disc is handcrafted at Donzé Cadrans, a renowned Swiss atelier, and features a vibrant enamel finish in a striking shade of Yas Blue. This rich, electric blue evokes the stunning colours of the Gulf of Arabia at twilight, capturing the deep hues of the evening sky as the sun sets over the waters. The guilloché pattern beneath the enamel further enhances the visual depth, offering a sophisticated interplay of light and texture that is both timeless and contemporary.
