Women of the Year Awards Spotlight Leadership and Innovation

The Women of the Year awards 2024 have become a prestigious platform for celebrating the accomplishments of Indonesian women who have not only achieved personal success but have also made a significant positive impact on society. 

The event brought together over 30 inspiring women who shared their stories and insights under the theme “How Women Rise to the Top.” It celebrated women from diverse fields who have exemplified exceptional leadership, resilience and dedication to their passions while remaining true to their values and making significant contributions to the advancement of their communities. This year, the awards were presented within the context of the Women Leadership Conference, an empowering gathering designed to provide Indonesian women with a platform to share their visions, exchange ideas and build meaningful connections.

Among the distinguished individuals being honoured is Andhyta Firselly Utami, the co-founder and CEO of Think Policy. This organisation works towards creating informed policy decisions that can bring about positive societal change. Similarly, Maureen Hitipeuw, the founder of Single Moms Indonesia, has been recognised for her dedication to empowering single mothers, helping them find strength and independence as they navigate their personal and professional lives.

In health and technology, Adipratnia Satwika Asmady stands out with her innovative contributions to the satellite industry, where she holds a position as an Insinyur Satelit. The arts and culture sector also sees remarkable representation, with individuals like Prilly Latuconsina, a celebrated actress, activist and entrepreneur, being honoured for her versatility and leadership. 

Namira Zania Siregar, a talented dancer and model, has also been recognised for promoting Indonesian culture and arts locally and internationally. In addition, Kezia Karin, an interior designer and the founder of KEZIAKARINSTUDIO, has made a name for herself by blending creativity with functional design, contributing to the growth of Indonesia’s design industry.

In the business and career spheres, Dr. Dra. Hj Nurhayati Subakat, Apt., the founder and CEO of Paragon Group, has been lauded for her entrepreneurial vision and for transforming her company into one of Indonesia’s leading beauty and wellness brands. Naomi Julia Soegianto, the founder of NJS Gold, has also earned recognition for her success in the jewellery industry, building a brand that celebrates Indonesian craftsmanship while making waves in global markets.

This year’s Women of the Year awards and the Women Leadership Conference serve as a powerful reminder of Indonesian women’s strength, resilience and ingenuity.
