Nestled amidst the serene bamboo forest of Payangan highlands, Padma Resort Ubud marked the start of the festive season with an enchanting Tree Lighting Ceremony. The elegant evening radiated the festive spirit, bringing guests together to share in the joy of Christmas and New Year within the resort’s tranquil setting.
The festivities began when the sun dipped as guests arrived at the lobby area, warmly greeted by the attentive resort team. A charming performance by the local children’s choir from SDN 2 Puhu soon followed, their angelic voices filling the courtyard with Christmas melodies. Guided by months of support from Padma Resort Ubud’s team, their heartfelt songs created an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.
General Manager Sudiman Arpan then took the stage to express gratitude and unveil this year’s holiday theme. The resort showcased its commitment to sustainability by thoughtfully adorning its venue with artistic and elegant decorations made entirely from recycled, eco-conscious materials.
The magical highlight continued as guests counted down to the tree lighting, greeted by the soft cascade of eco-friendly snow, transforming the courtyard into a mesmerising winter wonderland. Adding to the excitement, a surprise flash mob dance and Santa Claus thrilled guests, spreading joy as he shared small gifts to younger guests. Padma Resort Ubud’s Tree Lighting Ceremony was a luxurious celebration, blending festive joy with eco-conscious values in the heart of Bali’s verdant highlands.
