ARYADUTA Hotel Group is entering a new era with the appointment of Ivan Casadevall as its Chief Executive Officer, effective July 2024. With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, including nearly two decades in Indonesia, Casadevall brings a wealth of experience that blends international expertise with a deep understanding of the local market. His arrival marks a pivotal moment for ARYADUTA as it looks to refresh its identity, expand its reach and enhance its guests’ experience.
Born in Spain, Casadevall has built a career with some of the world’s most recognised hotel brands. His leadership style is known for being hands-on, focused on innovation and committed to high service standards. Throughout his time in Indonesia, he has developed a keen appreciation for its hospitality landscape, positioning himself well to guide ARYADUTA into its next chapter. Stepping into his new role, he sees an opportunity to strengthen the brand’s legacy while adapting it for the future. “I am proud to join ARYADUTA, a brand that holds a special place in Indonesia’s hospitality industry. His vision for ARYADUTA centres on three key areas. First, a significant refresh of its existing properties, starting with ARYADUTA Menteng. Rooms, public spaces, dining areas, and event facilities will be updated to reflect modern traveller preferences while maintaining the brand’s signature character. Second, expansion plans will introduce new hotels and resorts across Indonesia, strengthening ARYADUTA’s presence in key tourism and business destinations. Finally, there is a strong focus on service, with greater personalisation, digital integration and cultural influences to create a distinct and memorable guest experience.
