With more than 25 years of experience and a love for the art of pairing, Suyanto joins the five-star resort to create a remarkable wine and mixology experience.

Jumeirah Bali is delighted to welcome Suyanto as its new sommelier and beverage manager, marking the beginning of a new era in refined beverage experiences. With over 25 years of expertise, Suyanto brings an exceptional passion for wine and an unwavering dedication to the art of pairing, further elevating Jumeirah Bali’s commitment to sensory-driven dining.

Suyanto’s journey in the world of fine beverages began in 2001 at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, where he played a pivotal role in shaping The Cellar & The Library, an exclusive destination for curated wine and cigar experiences. His innovative approach led to a collaboration with Pacific Cigar, propelling his expertise onto Hong Kong’s international stage.

Determined to refine his craft, he embarked on a transformative journey at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, where he immersed himself in the complexities of old-world vintages and the revered traditions of French sommeliers. His dedication and skill earned him the prestigious title of Indonesia’s Top Sommelier at the Indonesia Sommelier Competition, solidifying his reputation on the global stage.

“I join Jumeirah Bali with the vision of seamlessly blending timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary, mindful approach to wine and mixology. Wine is more than just a beverage; it is an experience, a story woven through terroir, time and tradition.
