The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, proudly hosted its signature annual event, Celebrate Women 2025: Journey to I’m Possible, in alignment with Marriott International’s Women in Leadership initiative. Held on Friday, 11 April 2025, the event welcomed over 250 guests to the Bali International Convention Centre for an afternoon devoted to empowerment, resilience, and personal transformation.
Led by the resort’s dedicated Women in Leadership team, the celebration brought Marriott’s core values of well-being, balance and growth to life. It offered not only an inspiring programme, but also a memorable, purpose-led experience for all women and allies who attended.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring keynote address by Merry Riana, a renowned entrepreneur, investor and content creator, who shared her extraordinary story of rising above adversity. Her message of always stay positive and believe that women are possible resonated deeply with guests. Guests were moved by her story and selected participants got a special opportunity to meet her in an exclusive Meet & Greet session.
In honour of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, attendees arrived in elegant traditional attire and enjoyed a thoughtfully curated marketplace bazaar, dynamic networking moments and a delightful light dinner that encouraged heartfelt connection.
The afternoon also featured a touching performance by Frigia, a talented young musician, whose inspiring musical journey added a deeply personal and emotional layer to the event.
