MICHELIN-STARRED MAGIC AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, JAKARTA
Nicolas Isnard, the famous chef at Auberge de la Charme, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Prenois, France, will bring his innovative take on contemporary French cuisine back to Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta from March 27 to 28. Chef Isnard visited the hotel for its quarterly Michelin star events in 2011 and 2012, and his latest visit will feature more of his highly acclaimed dishes, filled with fresh flavours and bold twists, on exclusive business lunch and degustation dinner menus.
Chef Nicolas is renowned for his innovative approach to traditional French cuisine, which mixes distinctive rustic flavours with provincial produce to great effect. His vast culinary experience in Europe and Asia has broadened his knowledge of spices and aromas, cultures and techniques that continue to enrich his creations to this day.
His lunches will consist of two-to-four-course menus and is priced from Rp. 288,000 to Rp. 688,000. The degustation menu is priced at Rp.1,188,000 for a six-course menu, and Rp. 2,588,000 for a Chef’s Table with a minimum of four persons. Food lovers and culinary enthusiasts who wish to learn tips from Chef Nicolas can attend his cooking demonstration on March 29, priced at Rp. 588,000 per person which includes two-course lunch.
