For the Gucci Cruise 2015 men’s and women’s collections, Frida Giannini has applied the new pattern to a variety of her designs for the season. She chose to work with dark, enchanting and seductive nocturnal blossoms that reach their height at night, dawn or dusk; flowers picked to heal, seduce and even poison. Soft pallets of mint green, citrus yellow, soft blues, alongside python, nude and silver set the tone for a sophisticated collection. For prints, Giannini collaborated with artist Kris Knight, who selected plants that have historically been used.
As a new member in women’s accessories, Gucci Bamboo Daily Leather Top Handle Bag crafted with durable leather and a bit of grain. Finished with palladium hardware and featuring tone-on-tone baiadera cotton-linen lining, the edges are hand-painted with manual stitching.
