With the launch of Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels, enjoy a great gastronomic journey across five Indonesian cities in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz.
Marriott Bonvoy, the award-winning travel program from Marriott International, has launched Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz. During the month-long Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels campaign, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class will travel across five Indonesian cities, starting its journey on 30 September 2021 travelling from Jakarta to Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Bali, finally returning to Jakarta on 31 October 2021.
Through this unmatched program with a portfolio of extraordinary hotel brands and endless experience, Marriott Bonvoy helps guests explore Indonesia’s rich heritage and culinary delights. Guided by the ethos that “travel is nourishment for the soul and community,” Marriott Bonvoy’s mission is to broaden guests’ horizons and offer a suite of unique experiences.
To mark the start of this campaign, the unveiling and flag-off of The Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels will take place at The Westin Jakarta on 30 September. Next stop is Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers on 2-3 October; Hartono Mall Yogyakarta on 9-10 October; Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya on 14-15 October and Pakuwon Mall Surabaya on 16-17 October; W Bali Seminyak on 22 October and Beachwalk Shopping Center, Kuta, Bali on 23-24 October; ending the road trip in Jakarta at Tribeca Park, Central Park Mall on 28-21 October.
In each city, there will be a number of exciting activities prepared for guests, including lucky draws, signature food and beverage offerings, and entertainment – exclusively available to existing and new Marriott Bonvoy members. In Bandung, there will be exciting games offered at the Marriott Bonvoy lounge, such as ping pong shot and a chopstick race, offering winners vouchers to stay at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers, as well as F&B discount vouchers to be enjoyed at all Marriott Bonvoy Hotels in Bandung. In Yogyakarta, guests can find Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels in Hartono Mall and can enjoy a live bartending session offering mocktails, as well as a special cooking demo. Newly enrolled Marriott Bonvoy members will also be invited to visit Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa’s specialty restaurant and receive special discounts and complimentary appetizer/desserts for their dine-in experience.
In Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya, chef Lukman Santoso will be demonstrating Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers’ signature Sei Sapi Sandwich, while in Pakuwon Mall Surabaya there will be chef x sommelier on stage demonstrating pulled US prime brisket in butter soft brioche accompanied by the New World Wine Collection. In Beachwalk Shopping Center, Kuta, Bali, newly enrolled Marriott Bonvoy’s members can enjoy performances from the best chefs and bartenders on stage and have the opportunity to spin the Roulette Wheel for a chance to win a prize.
At the end of the road trip in Jakarta, Marriott Bonvoy will kick off the start of the Rasa Kuliner Food Festival, which will take place in Tribeca Park, Central Park Mall Jakarta. During this four-day food festival, visitors can enjoy a glimpse of unique and experiential dining experiences from Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of hotels in Jakarta. In addition, guests can sign up as a Marriott Bonvoy member and enjoy extra benefits, such as exclusive member rates, free Wi-Fi, and access to the Marriott Mobile app, including mobile check-in and checkout, to make their travel experience seamless.
