The ever-beautiful, five-star diamond Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa has unveiled a fresh new look at the hotel’s Wedang Jahe Restaurant. The iconic Balinese feel to the restaurant has been updated and rejuvenated making it an even more attractive venue than before.
Bordered by lotus ponds and with views across the tropical gardens, Wedang Jahe Restaurant now has a stunning feature wall at the entrance with dark red Balinese bricks painted with three vibrant, larger-than-life Balinese dancers. These colourful murals have already proven popular for instantly recognisable social media posts.
This new modern, elegant look is stylish, bright and airy, with the ceiling and pillars inspired by overturned Balinese umbrellas and a tree of life motif for the railings, room dividers and on the new crockery. Balinese dancer statues in pale stone oversee the venue from various vantage points, while the floors are cream and honey-coloured tile.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available in this cheerful, casual restaurant, and a new 20-seater, enclosed private dining room has been added, which is ideal for meetings and celebrations.
Naturally, the food offerings maintain their high standards with international and Indonesian dishes throughout the extensive breakfast buffet. Traditional herbal elixirs are found alongside omelettes, Indian curry, rustic breads, healthy options and all the normal breakfast choices one could wish for, embracing the wide multi-cultural diversity of the hotel’s guests. The restaurant can also be booked for group lunches and dinners.
