To commemorate International Meatless Day, these vegetarian foods with their wide ranging, creative and exotic culinary creations can surprisingly satisfy everyone’s taste buds!
On Sunday, 22nd November, 2015, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan and Haseena Bharata presented Dapoer Divine – A Good Karma Dining. This culinary event showcased an exclusive one-day fine-dining experience that pampered vegetarian enthusiasts with an exquisite, exceptional sumptuous and organic meal at Lobo Restaurant. Dapoer Divine introduced healthy vegetarian dishes to inspire generosity and the Karma Dining Experience in celebration of International Meatless Day.
Dapoer Divine is a pop-up dining experience prepared by renowned chefs, including Chef Petty Elliott (a pioneer of modern Indonesian cuisine, food consultant and author), Chef Jordi Bernus (Chef de Cuisine of Lobo Restaurant) and Chef Rudolph Blattler (Executive Chef of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan). These three expert chefs presented specially crafted vegetarian dishes with their own signature culinary styles using fresh ingredients supplied by Your Simple Garden — a patented state-of-the-art organic urban farming technology that can grow green stemmed vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs with less space, less time and low maintenance in unique vertical tower farms. The menu included beautiful tasting artichoke salad, a trio of bisque, soto, mushroom, gazpacho, bruschetta, fettuccine woku belanga, nasi goreng kecombrang, eggplant parmigiana and coconut panna cotta. The recipes were a healthy fusion of Indo-Italian masterpiece collaborations among the three chefs.
Guests were invited to pay for the dining experience based on their generosity, making it a unique dining session amidst a homey environment of kindness and goodwill. The event was a success as 217 people and 27 children attended brunch, lunch and high tea. Proceeds go to Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker and Yayasan Kanker Indonesia.
