Surf enthusiasts staying at Mamaka by Ovolo can now opt for a surfing lesson courtesy of Quiksilver Bali Surf Academy.
Mamaka by Ovolo proudly announced its partnership with Bali’s renowned surfing school Quiksilver Bali Surf Academy. The stylish urban resort will host a branch of the academy within the property to offer credible surfing lessons to guests who are looking to learn to ride the waves.
The family-owned Quiksilver Bali Surf Academy was established by Balinese Made Switra and his Australian wife Holly Monkman, who have long honed their experiences in the surfing world. Made is one of Bali’s legendary surfing pioneers, having travelled the world and surfed as a Quiksilver team rider, as well as being the first Balinese surfer to surf Hawaii’s famous Pipeline surf break. Holly has more than 20 years of experience in professional surfing and the surf industry.
