Kaemita Boediono began her career as a model in 1997 and has continuously evolved, becoming an active MC and presenter to this day. However, her contributions extend far beyond the entertainment industry. Since 2018, Kaemita has been a campaigner for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF), dedicating herself to the preservation of orangutans in their natural habitat.
Her commitment to orangutan conservation began when the Blue Bird Group selected her to support an orangutan release programme. “That first journey was incredibly impactful and opened my eyes to the importance of sustaining forests,” she recalled. To this day, Kalimantan remains her favourite destination for conservation missions.
In addition to her environmental advocacy, Kaemita has pursued a career in acting. In the film Titip Surat Untuk Tuhan, she potrays Saskia, an ambitious woman determined to protect her business by any means necessary. The film premiered in cinemas in March and is available on Netflix.
For Kaemita, every role she embraces holds a special significance. “Why choose when I enjoy them all?” she concluded. With her evident passion, Kaemita proves that it is possible to succeed in multiple fields while making a positive impact on the world.
