AKASA

AKASA, part of Jumeirah Bali, is situated on the highest level of the resort, offering breathtaking views of Uluwatu hills and the Indian Ocean. The restaurant’s design is inspired by the Majapahit era, with an indoor dining area reminiscent of a grand Javanese banquet hall. AKASA’s culinary team creates an Asian fusion menu that combines the rich traditions and flavours of Bali with influences from Thailand, Japan and Korea.

The menu starts with appetisers such as flame-grilled tuna tartare with truffle, yuzu dressing, avocado cream and crispy quinoa. The Jimbaran prawn salad with smoked pomelo, papaya, red chilli, mint and tamarind captures the tropical island’s vibrancy. Seafood features prominently in the dishes, with highlights like robata salmon with den miso yuzu and blue river giant prawn with mango and passion fruit. The crab rice, made with Papua crabmeat, green shiso pesto, aji amarillo and egg, is a standout side. For meat lovers, the 500g yakiniku caramelised lamb cutlet is both tender and flavourful.
