Alaya Hotels & Resorts proudly welcomes experienced hotelier Dewi Mas as the group’s general manager, replacing the previous GM, I Nyoman Suwamana Wahyu Putra. Balinese-born Dewi has 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry up her sleeves, with prominent stints for big brands like Hyatt and Four Seasons, and also later at The ONE Legian Hotel as general manager.
Dewi has previous experience as a certified hotel trainer, where she shared her knowledge at a local hospitality school with aspiring hoteliers. Dewi’s meticulous understanding of luxury hotel operations and solid sales and marketing background leave her ready to tackle the day-to-day operations of all Alaya Hotels & Resorts, including Alaya Resort Ubud, Alaya Resort Jembawan, Villa de Daun that will be rebranded to Alaya Dedaun later this year, and Alaya Hatten that’s planned for opening in 2019.
