Celebrating One Amazing Year at Altitude
A year has flown by and Altitude, the new icon of high-end dining in Jakarta, is now one year old. Opened on April 27 of last year, Altitude has already gained a legion of loyal fans amongst Jakarta’s food connoisseurs for its three excellent eateries. There’s GAIA Ristorante, which serves up authentic northern Italian cuisine; Salt grill by Luke Mangan, which brings the Celebrity Chef’s unique brand of modern Australian cuisine; and Enmaru, which serves up some of the city’s best modern Japanese izakaya fare.
To celebrate its first anniversary, Altitude organised numerous special events aimed at culinary connoisseurs and their loyalist customers, beginning on April 2 with a whisky tasting presented by Johnnie Walker. Other events included an intimate Barone Ricasoli Wine Dinner at GAIA Ristorante, an exclusive dinner with Celebrity Chef Luke Mangan at Salt grill and a Japanese Guest Chef Dinner with Hideki Takahashi, the owner of Muteki Corporation, which has 19 restaurants and 10 brands all over Japan, at Enmaru.
The final and largest event in Altitude’s one year celebration will take place on May 9. Named “A Night in Three Continents,” the party will feature great selections of canapés served from each of Altitude’s restaurant, free flow beverages, live entertainment, and plenty of prizes for guests.
Each diner who spends IDR. 1,000,000 during the Culinary Feast period will be entitled to a lucky draw coupon, giving them the chance to win some fabulous prizes. Turkish Airlines, as the main sponsor of ALTITUDE ONE Anniversary, is giving away two business class tickets to Europe as the grand prize of the lucky draw winner on the anniversary night. Other amazing prizes include a holiday trip for two to a vineyard in Australia and a holiday trip to Bali sponsored by RIMBA Jimbaran Bali.
