Talented photographer Adrian Stephanus started his career in 2009, when he worked for one of the leading media groups in Indonesia. His passion for capturing stunning visuals and a penchant for the art of photography focused him on his own business as a freelance photographer and videographer in 2013. Since then, he has been working on both commercial and non-commercial projects for top brands and personalities.
Upon the conversation of photography genre, Adrian describes his as quite eclectic. “I cover several genres. However, most of the projects I’ve taken on usually revolve around people and their activities, and not so much on still life or food photos,” said Adrian. In addition to commercial and editorial works that can be seen on his Instagram account @lucentdaypro, Adrian also showcases exquisitely enchanting wedding photography on his other page @hellolucentday.
The always refreshing nature of the job, including encounters on various projects and locations, keeps Adrian excited about being a photographer. He explains that a good photographer should be able to understand different clients’ needs and personalise the service based on their needs. “Good communication with a good team also helps overcome any challenges,” Adrian mused.
