At InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza
The InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza started holiday festivities early with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on 27th November. As part of its Christmas Giving Tree community care initiative, guests were invited over the following weeks to choose a card with the wishes of the children from Pondok Si Boncel Catholic orphanage and make appropriate donations to ensure that every child receives a gift. The event also saw celebrated artists, such as Joy Tobing, Rio Febrian, Mika Tambayong and Monika, on stage singing their hearts out for the crowd in celebration of the joyous event, along with traditional Christmas carols heartwarmingly performed by the children’s choir of Sayang Mama Orphanage. As the evening grew late, guests were treated to a wonderful dinner in the lobby as the celebration continued around the glorious Christmas tree.
