This coming 11th-13th August, Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City is set to host the exciting international art fair ART STAGE Jakarta 2017. As a global stage for upcoming and renowned Southeast Asian artists to meet, exchange ideas and mingle with their international counterparts, ART STAGE is set to welcome rich and diverse artworks from all over the world.
For the event, 50 exquisite galleries will showcase their astounding art pieces, with an emphasis on the Southeast Asian art scene, which has proven to be very popular amongst private collectors.
ART STAGE Jakarta aims to present a pragmatic picture of the eclectic and sumptuous art styles of upcoming and established Southeast Asian artists and explore the opportunities of artistic connections and collaboration between the region’s artists.
Indonesia will be represented by 20 galleries hand-picked from the vast archipelago with exhibitions from Nadi Gallery, Semarang Gallery and D Gallerie amongst others. A selection of international galleries will make up the remaining coveted 30 spots, with representations by respected Japanese Mizuma Gallery, Singaporean Gajah Gallery and Sydney representative Sullivan+Strumpf amongst others.
