On 31 December 2019, Café del Mar Bali is the place to welcome 2020 with two of the world’s most extraordinary DJs hitting the decks. Touted as one of the most prolific remixers of all time, the Grammy award winner and legendary house music producer David Morales will kick-off the festivities with his sunset set. When the clock strikes midnight, there will be glitter on the dance floor as the ultra-chic, discolicious Dimitri From Paris sets the stage alight with his thumping beats.
A native New Yorker, David Morales grew up during dance music’s most influential era and frequented many of its legendary clubs. Honing his skills since the 80s, David has remixed and produced over 500 releases for artists including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, the Pet Shop Boys, U2 and more. While the sound of Dimitri From Paris was influenced by dance music in France, and in 2005 he was made an official Knight of Arts and Letters by the French government. Playing across genres and tempos, his passion for sharing good music moves body, mind and soul.
