A: Elevating brand positioning, driving demand and leading an unparalleled experiential luxury journey.
Q: What makes a typical day in your line of work?
A: Each day is a new day and presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities. Fast adaptability, a positive mindset and great synergy and collaboration within the team are the extra boosters that enhance my day.
Q: What does your day off look like?
A: Spending a portion of the day for me time, just reading a book or exercising (I love body combat), while in between doing mom duties, and always on the hunt to find time to connect with family and close friends. Quality time with loved ones is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Q: What’s the toughest part of your job?
A: Managing people. It requires strong leadership, communication skills, adaptability and a deep understanding of oneself as a professional and human being. As role models or leaders, we need to always be inspiring, positive and in full support while navigating the complexities of the business environment.
Q: What do you find most satisfying in your job?
A: Working as a director of sales and marketing finds the greatest satisfaction in perpetually seeking out fresh and unique opportunities. It is the constant excitement of innovation and exploration. Discovering novel marketing strategies, exploring emerging trends and implementing creative approaches to reach customers provide a continuous sense of freshness and excitement in the role.
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career?
A: My mother embodies the dream that I am now realising. She aspired to be an independent, successful career woman, but destiny led her to become a successful full-time mom instead. Despite this, she has always praised and believed in me, never giving up on supporting me, and this spirit has made me who I am today.
Q: Name one really special thing about your property.
A: One particularly remarkable aspect of our resort is our commitment to curating bespoke experiences meticulously crafted to cater to the individual tastes and desires of every guest.
Q: Tell us something about you that most people don’t know.
A: I was once part of an Independence Day aubade singer at Indonesia’s National Palace (Istana Presiden). My journey in hospitality began when I became a regular master of ceremonies at a luxury hotel in Bali. Following several events, the manager extended an offer for me to join the sales department, and I have been working in this field ever since.
Q: If you had not taken this career path, what would you have chosen?
A: I would be in the entertainment industry, pursuing roles as either a singer or music director or indulging my other passions as a party planner and travel advisor.
