Eco-conscious Living with Hilton

Help support a great cause while staying at Hilton properties on the island of Bali – Conrad Bali, Hilton Garden Inn Ngurah Rai Airport and Hilton Bali Resort.

Bali, with its mysticism and traditions, has a power that keeps people coming back for more. Offering a different story for each visit, this little island has been on everyone’s go-to list for years.

Surrounded by beautiful backdrops of mountains or the ocean, it’s no wonder there are so many luxury hotels racing to get the attention of Bali’s multitude of tourists by providing a unique staying experience. Hilton has five properties around Indonesia and the brand’s two luxury hotels in Bali showcase the perfect blend of five-star luxury amenities wrapped in the warmth of Indonesian hospitality.

Set atop a 40m cliff in Nusa Dua, Bali Hilton Resort is where you are always greeted with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and fresh sea breezes. Famed for its tropical beauty, guests get to enjoy relaxing and sleeping comfortably in one of its 401 newly refurbished rooms and suites. For unobstructed views, request an ocean view room or suite on the highest floors of the Cliff Tower.

For something more secluded, a stay in one of the private villas will provide a personal sanctuary. Each villa comes with 24-hour butler service, a private plunge pool and lush, private garden. Outside the room, the resort offers on-site recreation and relaxation with four swimming pools, a secluded beach and full service spa.

Down the road from this cliff resort lies Conrad Bali. Situated on seven hectares of tropical garden, the luxury beachfront resort offers guests an alluring blend of natural beauty and timeless traditions. Boasting panoramic views of the ocean, pools and garden, the resort also features newly refurbished rooms and suites to maximise guests’ comfort. For dining, guests get to choose between international cuisine and Indonesian delicacies.

This year, Conrad Bali is turning fifteen. To help celebrate this milestone, Conrad Bali, along with Hilton Bali Resort and Hilton Garden Inn Ngurah Rai Airport were awarded a Travel with Purpose Action Grant of USD5,000 from Hilton International. This action grant is enabling Hilton hotels in Bali to support the non-profit organisation Bye Bye Plastic Bags.

Launched in 2013, Bye Bye Plastic Bags is a youth-driven movement to raise awareness about the issue of waste in Bali. As part of its portfolio of community-centric initiatives, it launched the social enterprise Mountain Mamas to equip local women in Bali with skills to create linen-based bags from donated or recycled materials as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. The project also aims to help contribute towards an improved standard of living for the village of Wanagiri Kauh.
