An iconic property in Lion City, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore has finally re-opened its doors to loyal customers after an extensive six-month refurbishment. Led by internationally acclaimed interior design firm DESIGNWILKES, the hotel has been reborn with colour and inspiration from signature Singaporean elements.
The revamped areas include 510 rooms and suites, with the new addition of a four-bedroom Royal Marina Bay Penthouse boasting views of the South China Sea along with private balconies and a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen for private dinners.
Public spaces evoke the same relaxed ease. Guests are welcomed into an oasis of tranquillity as they step into the rejuvenated lobby bathed in natural light and bright colours. Above the Lobby Lounge, magnificent crystal spheres of Vanda Joaquim orchids are a tribute to Singapore’s national flower. The hotel’s transformed lounge, HAUS 65, presents a sophisticated social space complete with exclusive privileges. The re-opening also sees the return of the award-winning MO BAR, complete with a new collection of innovative cocktails.
