To mark the launch of the Milestone Celebrations package in August, the resort hosted an introductory event where Pastry Chef Vincent Stopin created the inaugural Milestone Cake. A three-tiered vanilla blend with fondant icing, the cake took 10kg of ingredients and 10 hours to make. That’s not all, Vincent worked together with Grant Smyth of The St. Regis Bali’s in-house jeweller Harold Alexander Fine Jewellery to feature nine emeralds, nine sapphires, multiple diamonds and pearls on the cake, valued at USD2.5 million.
