Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali introduces two new senior executives to its team.
Horst Walther-Jones, General Manager of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, has announced the appointments of Chanelle Garvey as Executive Assistant Manager leading operational activities and Shelly Darcy as Director of Sales & Marketing. Although new to the Jimbaran resort, both have been with Accor Hotels for a long time.
Hailing from Australia, Chanelle has an extensive hospitality background. Upon completing her Bachelor of Business – Communication at Queensland University of Technology, she started her career working for branded hotels in Sydney and Melbourne. In 2006, she joined Accor Hotels to head sales and marketing departments for Sofitel and Novotel properties around Southeast Asia.
Indonesian-born Shelly is no stranger to Bali’s hospitality scene as she has worked exclusively in the island’s luxury hotels for almost a decade. Joining Accor Hotels in 2013, she is eager to get out and promote Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali to a new height. Backed by her comprehensive experience and knowledge of Bali, Shelly is passionate about the dynamics and challenges of the sales and marketing industry.
