Alila Ubud opens its doors and invites discerning diners to enjoy a whole new culinary concept at two of its food and beverage outlets: Plantation Restaurant and Cabana Lounge. Helmed by Executive Chef Erwan Wijaya, the first one proudly implements the farm-to-table concept – favouring ingredients that are grown and/or bought locally. Plantation spoils guests with seasonal dishes from pan-seared local scallops with tapioca herb crème fraiche and salmon caviar, to Ubud’s traditional recipes such as ayam betutu – all accompanied by the lush rainforest surrounding. Meanwhile, for something more laidback, the Cabana Lounge can be found right next to the striking swimming pool, serving energising juices, eclectic cocktails and delectable bites.
