Managed by the Bali Catering Company, Gourmet Café on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak serves an all day breakfast menu, along with a create-your-own option for salads and sandwiches. Cold breakfast ranges from scrumptious chocolatines, muffins, croissants and brioche, to healthy homemade Bircher muesli and yoghurt.
For something hearty, try the Gourmet Cafe Breakfast a corn fritter dish with tomato relish, and sides of crispy bacon, spinach and avocado. If you just want to indulge, go for the French Toast served with maple syrup and caramelized bananas, or if you’re in the mood for something Asian, sample the scrambled eggs with crispy chicken and broccoli in mild oyster sauce. For Atkin’s lovers, Gourmet Café offers Sautéed Asparagus with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce.
For lunch, create your own salad or sandwich or simply choose one of the house favorites, including the Turkey Roll, Tuna Wrap, Roasted Chicken Sandwich, Croque Monsieur and Le Parisien – French baguette with Paris Ham, baby gherkins and Emmental cheese. Order an artichoke, tomato and mozzarella panini with a side of shoestring fries or onion rings. You can also try the roasted quarter chicken with potatoes and own jus or the Italian spicy sausage if you fancy something from the rottiserie or grill. Fresh juices to-go are available in a specially sealed container as well as the best illy regular and organic coffees. Healing and herbal teas are a perfect afternoon treat when you feel like relaxing.
