A stunning display celebrating weddings was presented at the recent Grand Hyatt Jakarta Wedding Fair. In addition to four spectacular wedding gown shows, more than 25 wedding experts highlighted this year’s trends in high-end invitations, jewellery, souvenirs, decorations, photography, videography and much more.
Four celebrated Indonesian designers presented their wedding fashions to an eager audience. Saptodjojokartiko presented an outstanding Japanese garden-theme stage layout showcasing 21 pieces from his 2019 bridal collection at The Residence ON FIVE, the hotel’s multifunction event space. Yogie Pratama, meanwhile, presented a beautiful dazzle-themed collection in the Grand Ballroom with white, gold and violet tones highlighted by large sequins and bows.
Phangsanny’s designs exposed the beauty of a woman’s silhouette in a collection made of lace and tulle. She also showcased Terbuai by Phangsanny, her Indonesian heritage and nature-inspired collection. Belle Mariee Couture then showed dreamy, magical dresses under the theme A Million Dreams, combining the classics and a twist of modernism.
Many prizes were available to guests, with a grand prize for one lucky couple of two roundtrip flight tickets to enjoy their honeymoon at Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Hyatt Regency Kyoto.
