Following the staggering success of Hakkasan in 11 international cities around the world, the refined Cantonese restaurant is opening its 12th venue in Jakarta on 8th February. The first Hakkasan to open in Southeast Asia, the restaurant will be nestled on the 25th and 26th floors of the stylishly opulent Alila SCBD Jakarta, boasting elevated views of Jakarta’s dynamic financial hub.
Designed by GBRH Interior Design, Hakkasan features elaborately carved latticework and intimate lighting, evoking an exclusive ambience – reminiscent of the original Michelin-starred London restaurant. The kitchen takes centrestage at Hakkasan, so diners can observe as the skilled wok chefs work their magic.
The Cantonese menu includes signature dishes that are inspired by and created with local produce, such as the steamed red grouper with spicy kaffir sambal sauce, Musang king durian puff and braised Mutiara lobster with glass noodles and black peppercorns. In addition to the innovative Cantonese cuisine, Hakkasan also takes pride in its elegant tipples and wide-ranging wine selection. Sophisticated cocktails like Hakkatini – orange oil-washed Ketel One vodka, brandied orange liqueur, Campari and cloudy apple juice – are a must-try. The restaurant also provides outdoor rooftop space with banquettes and semi-private VIP booths.
