Q: What are your responsibilities?
A: My main responsibility lies in ensuring the seamless operation of both the food and beverage division and catering sales. I strive to deliver an unforgettable and exceptional service experience for our esteemed guests. Leveraging my extensive background in sales and marketing, I possess a unique ability to perceive the broader perspective, taking into account various crucial elements such as strategy, revenue generation and operational efficiency. It is this comprehensive approach that forms the foundation of my leadership style.

Q: What’s a typical day like in your field of work?
A: Morning routine begins with a warm and welcoming interaction with my team members. Following this, I proceed to inspect the room service team, ensuring the operations are running efficiently. From there, I move on to the Palm Court team, overseeing our breakfast service. As breakfast time holds significant importance, I make it a priority to support both La Patisserie and Dolcetto. Subsequently, I dedicate time to meet with our catering sales team, discussing ongoing projects, and addressing any concerns. Lastly, my attention shifts to Alto restaurant.

Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your career to date?
A: The hospitality industry holds a special significance for me, as it runs in my bloodline. My father, who dedicated his career to serving the Indonesia Ministry of Tourism, has been an influential figure in my life since my early childhood. His passion for this field and his remarkable accomplishments have consistently inspired and motivated me.

Q: Name one really special thing about your restaurants.
A: Our La Patisserie, with beautifully crafted cakes and pastry by Chef Lorenzo, has produced the most beautiful cakes in town; Dolcetto with the grab-and-go concept provides fresh sandwiches and best aromatic coffees to go; Alto Restaurant & Bar with its Italian flair concept and the famous Sunday Brunch; and our all-day dining Palm Court presents a multi-cultural mix of  Indonesian, Chinese and International flavours, a well-known and favourite among Jakarta local residents and international travellers. 

Q: Most memorable moment of your career?
A: Probably when we had the Asia Pacific Marketing Conference back in June 2017. Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta was only open for one year at that time. I was given the opportunity to lead the team to handle this project and work closely with our APAC regional team; understanding the needs, all requirements for the success of the conference, providing suggestion, ideas and understanding correctly to translate into action and making this event a very succesful one.
