Q: Describe your responsibilities in 10 words.
A: Oversee the marketing and communications for all Padma Hotels’ properties.
Q: What’s a typical day like in your line of work?
A: First, coffee, then connect with my marketing team in Bali, Bandung, Semarang and Karawang, followed by daily tasks, making sure I check off as many boxes as possible on my to-do list.
Q: What’s the toughest part of your job?
A: Being a decision-maker and maintaining a constant level of meticulousness.
Q: What do you find most satisfying among what you do?
A: When I see my team succeeding and displaying a high spirit to achieve great things. Perhaps this is what it feels like to be a proud parent watching the kids excel in school. It’s incredibly rewarding.
Q: Who or what has influenced you the most throughout your career?
A: Undoubtedly, my boss. I owe my growth to him. His mentorship has
not only shaped my professional skills but also contributed to my personal development, in and outside the workplace.
Q: If you hadn’t become a corporate assistant director of marketing and communications, what path would you have chosen?
A: I would have become a full-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete.
