As the Year of the Snake begins, Jumeirah properties across the globe honour the occasion with vibrant cultural celebrations, creative collaborations and symbolic gifts. These festivities offer guests unique ways to connect and celebrate time-honoured traditions.
A key highlight this year is Jumeirah’s collaboration with Master Tan Guanghui, a celebrated Chinese artist and national-level inheritor of Guangzhou Painted Porcelain. His creation, Golden Snake Blessings, features a golden snake delicately crafted on a ceramic gourd from Jingdezhen, symbolising blessings and prosperity. Guests can experience this exquisite artistry in various forms, including red envelopes and limited-edition Lunar New Year gift boxes at select properties.
During this special celebration, Jumeirah properties worldwide offer tailored festive experiences to celebrate the Year of the Snake. At Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, guests can marvel at the Golden Snake animation projected onto the iconic façade from 28-30 January 2025, marking the occasion with elegance and grandeur. Meanwhile, Jumeirah Guangzhou offers a variety of activities, including themed afternoon teas accompanied by live guzheng music, Cantonese New Year cakes, special red envelopes and family packages featuring cultural activities such as lantern-making and tea ceremonies.
In Jumeirah Nanjing Hotel, guests are treated to a curated Cantonese New Year menu at Lu Chao restaurant, crafted by Chef Jacky Cai, alongside workshops like dumpling-making and Spring Festival calligraphy, culminating in a traditional lion dance performance. Over in Jumeirah Bali, the resort in Uluwatu celebrates with a three-day programme that includes a Chinese buffet, family-friendly activities and rejuvenating spa treatments designed with festive touches.
