Paris-based retailer of luxury furniture Roche Bobois opened the doors of its first store in Indonesia on 24th February 2015. Roche Bobois offers unique and exclusive designs with high-end selections from classic art pieces to modern edgy styles. Their collections enjoy an upscale international reputation.
Known for its contemporary edge, Roche Bobois came to be through the efforts of two French families with long histories in the furniture industry, Roche and Chouchan. Philippe and Francois Roche met Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan at a Scandinavian furniture fair in 1950 and, soon after, the two clans joined hands to open a store in Paris specializing in Nordic-made furniture. The name gradually gained recognition in France before being launched in Belgium in 1961, in Canada in 1973 and in the United States and Spain in 1974. Roche Bobois now operates more than 250 stores in 45 countries. Roche Bobois is considered today as a world leader of high-end furniture and a pioneer creator. Roche Bobois launches new collections every six months.
